Bingo Duel – Privacy Policy
Bingo Duel is a two-player bingo game for Android and the web, made by LK Gaming ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app uses, why, and the choices you have. The app has no accounts, no chat and no free-text names.
1. Data stored only on your device
Your stars, win streaks, unlocked and selected themes and sound setting are saved on your device. We do not receive them. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Android app shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects data such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google uses this as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google's consent tool. You can change your choice at any time with Privacy settings on the app's main menu. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Some ads offer a reward (for example, trying a theme for one game). Watching them is always optional.
3. Online play (Google Firebase)
When you play online, the app uses Google Firebase:
- Anonymous sign-in (Firebase Authentication) gives the app a random user ID. No name, email or phone number is asked for or stored.
- Game data (Cloud Firestore) stores the game room: a room code, a generated player name such as "Player 4821", the numbers called, the lines completed, the preset emoji reactions sent, and timestamps. Your grid stays on your device during the game; only a fingerprint of it is shared, and the grid is revealed to your opponent at the end so the result can be checked.
- To limit online stars, we store a daily counter of online stars and a count of games left early, linked to the random user ID.
- App Check (Firebase App Check, with Google Play Integrity on Android and Google reCAPTCHA on the web) checks that requests come from the real app, to protect the game from abuse. It uses device and app information, not your name or contact details.
- Remote Config (Firebase Remote Config) lets us pause online play or ask old versions to update. It uses a Firebase installation ID and the app version.
Game data is stored in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Each game room expires 3 days after it is created and is then deleted.
Offline games (against the computer or pass-and-play) do not use Firebase.
4. Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played, for example when a game starts or ends, which difficulty is chosen and which themes are unlocked. It uses an app-instance ID and device information, not your name or contact details. If crash reporting is enabled, Firebase Crashlytics sends crash details (device model, OS version, the error) so we can fix bugs. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics follows the consent choice you make in the app.
5. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, microphone or precise location.
- There is no chat and no free-text name, so other players cannot send you messages; they only see a generated name and preset emoji reactions.
6. Legal basis (EEA/UK)
We process data to provide the game you ask for (online play), on the basis of your consent (personalised ads and analytics where required), and for our legitimate interest in keeping the game working and fair (crash reports, abuse limits).
7. Children
Bingo Duel is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used online play, contact us and we will delete the related data.
8. Retention and deletion
Game rooms are deleted after they expire, 3 days after they are created. The anonymous user ID and its counters are kept while you use online play. To delete them, contact us with the approximate date you played, or simply uninstall the app: a new install gets a new random ID. Google's retention of advertising and analytics data is described in Google's privacy policy.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent and to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to use these rights.
